People of Egypt: Take Your Time
"The received wisdom is that democracy will somehow solve the problem. This sounds good, but it isn’t true. Democracy, after all, is a process, not an outcome in itself."[1]
People of Egypt: Take Your Time
People of Egypt:
don’t let the EUSA
buy you/r elections.
Choose your own leaders
or better:
don’t choose leaders
at all –
choose speakers
instead.
Interfere yourself.
Take your time for true
dialog, decalog, multilog …
Stay at the round table
until you feel
you have been heard
and
until you’re sure:
you will be heard
in the future,
too.
People of Egypt:
take your time
and insist
in your own responsibility
in your own ways
to your own dreams.
Time is the freedom
democracy needs.
You have forcibly waited
for so long:
now add a long breath
to your hope
and impatience.
Time is freedom.
Don’t let them turn it
to money
for a short-term
victory
now.
